Outline

Shaping the Global Future of
Japanese Manga, Together.

This project draws on many years of work in manga education and research, and on partnerships with publishers and educational institutions in Japan and abroad, to prepare creators and specialists for careers in manga around the world.
Our goal is to develop the next generation of manga artists and writers, as well as the editors, curators, and producers who work alongside them. Through distinctive distance-learning programs and a new Department of Manga (Distance Learning) planned for the 2030 academic year, we aim to make high-quality manga education accessible to learners wherever they are. As we widen access to learning, we welcome partnerships with organizations that share our ambition to advance Japanese manga culture and expand its global reach for generations to come.
